Bottle via a trade. It poured a cloudy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of cherry, wine and grapes. The taste was a little musty with some cinnamon, cherry and vanilla. The aftertaste was of spicy cinnamon, wood, grape, cherry and vanilla. There was a hint of lemon tartness. Just plain awesome.

Draft... RBSG 2014… Pours clear and dirty orange with golden highlights and a small, wispy, white head. The aroma is a mélange of raw oak, red wine, lactic acidity and dark berries. Medium to full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is fruity, vinous and tart. Adequate measures of yeasty and woody bitterness balance everything out. Oaken, lightly bitter finale.

On Draught at the Brewery.
Pours an orange color with a smallish head.

The aroma is really neat, lots of tart cherry and orange, something that I might compare to a charred citrus (if that makes sense) with some light toasty malt and mild spiciness.

The flavor is tart with some vanilla. It’s got some sweet cherry and toasty malt. It’s not a flavor I’d normally tie to Saison, but c’est la vie. It’s tasty enough.
