COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer brings together two of our favorite ingredients: Hops and Rye - serious hops up front provide a pungent, floral, and citrus character. We use Centennial, Columbus, and Cascades in this hop lovers dream. The rye provides a slightly spicy flavor and a full mouth-feel. Divided Sky pours straw in color with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. Drink fresh!

Solid rye.p.a. Get the grapefruits and such from the hops. Slight rye hints, but not what I would expect.

12 oz can from a "craft your own" six pack. Clear orange pour, nice frothy white head, nice lacing. Spicy pepper, grapefruit aroma. I think the rye hides of the hops. Thin, light beer, finishes without the bitterness of some IPAís. I really liked this, I believe itís the first beer Iíve had from this brewer. I will keep an eye out for more.

can, perhaps old. Pretty boring IPA, little flavor to write of, earthy bitterness, lite citrus notes, pretty blah

1/25/15. On tap at the brewpub. Amber pour with a nice khaki head and good lacing. Nice aroma, lots of those C hops, citrus, pine, a little dank, some biscuity bread dough and spice. Nice flavor, not as much hop character, more of the breadiness, a touch of caramel. Tasty!

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big rye, orange, lemon into a bit of caramel, toffee, hints of biscuit, slight spice in there as well. Taste is a mix of a rye, spice, yeast into a bit of caramel, toffee, slight earth into a bit of lemon, finishing with a hint of fruit, bitter.

Pours a vibrant orange. Aromas of spicy rye, peaches and mango. Nice dank hop flavor, sweet tropical fruit and a bitter bite at the end. Great IPA.

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 12/10/14. Beer from Royal Liquor Kansas City. Aroma has a great pine & citrus note. Taste has a nice hop bite upfront & finishes with the rye & an almost nutty taste. Overall a nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the 12-oz can this pours a crystal clear pale amber body with a bubbly ecru head. I like the aroma, zesty, peppery, floral, and a soft caramel sweetness. The taste reflects the aroma but is a bit more serious when it comes to hoppy bitterness. The finish is a dry dirty zest bitterness. Nice.

Lots of brewers make hoppy beers and quite a few of them make great hoppy beers. 4 Hands, I think, can be proud to stand out in this crowded field. The nose on this is one is just huge. It smells like pineapple juice and tangerines, very bright and fresh with just a touch of pine around the edges. Itís got a nice orange golden color and a tight-bubbled white head. The rye and relatively mild carbonation give this a full, juicy mouthfeel but it is not all kinds of sweet and syrpy or anything and so remains nice and drinkable, at least for a relatively strong beer. For some reason, I am feeling like the finish here leaves me wanting for a bit of bitterness but that is only one small complain in an otherwise very good beer. The hoppy nose on this really surprised based on the hops used and I would have expected less of a tropical fruit thing and more of a conventional citrus and pine American hop aroma. Definitely, I can recommend this to hop heads of any sort.
