This beer brings together two of our favorite ingredients: Hops and Rye - serious hops up front provide a pungent, floral, and citrus character. We use Centennial, Columbus, and Cascades in this hop lovers dream. The rye provides a slightly spicy flavor and a full mouth-feel. Divided Sky pours straw in color with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. Drink fresh!

A nice spin on a traditional IPA. Good amber color with a head that leaves lacing on the glass. The aroma had a modest hint of hops. The taste is where this beer excels. The rye gives the malts a very sharp taste which is a excellent counter point to the hops. Well done.

Aroma is pale/biscuit malts and citrus. The flavor is citrus, rye, malts and a mildly spicy/alcoholic finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper body under a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is pretty nice, some spicy rye bread, caramel malt, and some interesting hops. They smell like New Zealand hops. The flavor is very rye centered, spicy and earthy with some minimal caramel maltiness. Nice bitterness level, it adds a nice brightness, but doesnít overpower the rye. Crisp snappy finish. Lighter bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice Rye IPA. Surprised Iíve never heard of tho brewery before.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2014 Gold/amber pour. Smell is fruity with caramel. Flavor is buttery a bit, huge rye note, likedrinking liquid oatmeal with some caramel. Lighter c-hop flavors. Liked the DIPA I had form these guys but this is soooo malty for an IPA aside from the finishing bitterness and light chop notes, so much rye and caramel malt.

Sorry, but looking at the previous high ratings it received I just canít agree, it is just an average to slightly above average iPA Rye or otherwise. My fav iPA is Sculpin by Ballast Point 100/100 that is what I judge my iPAís by and this isnít in the same ballpark.

Tastier beer than my rating indicates, eh. Had it out of a bottle, pours a frothy head, whisper of the hop / rya aroma, heavy hop - rye taste.

Pours a cloudy light orange with plentiful beige head. Lots of good, interesting scents on the nose, lead by citrus and pine. Throughout the taste is a hint of rye, just right IMO. Good, well-balanced IPA and just the right level of dryness and bitterness. Very good!

Bottle from pump, thanks! Golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma picks up some rye along with citrus, caramel and mild pine and grassiness. Taste of citrus, caramel, rye and light pine. Decent.
