COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer brings together two of our favorite ingredients: Hops and Rye - serious hops up front provide a pungent, floral, and citrus character. We use Centennial, Columbus, and Cascades in this hop lovers dream. The rye provides a slightly spicy flavor and a full mouth-feel. Divided Sky pours straw in color with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. Drink fresh!

A nice spin on a traditional IPA. Good amber color with a head that leaves lacing on the glass. The aroma had a modest hint of hops. The taste is where this beer excels. The rye gives the malts a very sharp taste which is a excellent counter point to the hops. Well done.

Pours a hazy straw-orange into the glass with a nice foamy head that leaves soap lacing. The nose really shows forth the rye and floral hops. Flavors are grapefruit, light stone fruit citrus; grainy, of thick rye notes, finishing with a peppering spruce-pine bitter. The mouthfeel is dry, lightly active on the palate and medium-light bodied. Spicy and full of rye, this is a nice rye IPA. It’s substantive, full of flavor and easy to drink. Nice job.

Bottle in KC- pours clear golden, 1 finger bubbly white head that recedes. Nose of tangerine, pine, dank earthiness. Medium bodied, lots of resinous pine hops, grapefruit citrus, some caramel malt sweetness for balance and then the rye spicy chewy notes show up. Good combo ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a golden color with a smallish head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fruity but sort of caramel forward for my liking. It’s got some grassy hoppiness.

The hops are awfully forward in the flavor and they bring a big citrus bite along with a little bit of melon. Again, there is a little more caramel than I would prefer going on here.

Not bad, but not my kind of IPA.

Draft on tap at the brewery (St. Louis, MO). RBSG 2014 Friday Bus Tour. Pours a pale golden straw hue, gentle haziness with frothy whitish head that sits as a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas are gentle rye, bitter floral hops and a kiss of citrus. Some gentle fruit, touches of tropical and grapefruit elements, faint pine. Initial is dry, bitter, a lighter end of the fold with gentle fruit, some mellow yeast, touches of rye and bready malts. Some decent hop character, florals, gentle orange and grapefruit. Backend is dry, a bit bready, cereal and mellow yeast. Decent hop character with some gentle tropical fruit, citrus and florals. Finish a bit soapy, melon and nice flavors. Solid.
