3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from trade with Strykezone. Lots of spice in the nose - nutmeg, allspice, clove. Taste as it smells. Woody taste and hint of pecan. A slow slipper on a cold night.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours a copper with a off white head. Taste nutmeg, bitter, sweet potatoe. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by phaleslu. Pours a slightly hazy caramel amber color with a small off white head. The aroma definitely pops with nutmeg and allspice, sweet potatoes, vanilla, some wood. The flavor is more balanced with the spices being smoothed out by the barrel. Some sweeter malts, vanilla, light earth, lightly toasted. Not bad, but could use a bit more body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Global Brew. Pours a slightly hazy orange/gold with a thin but glass coating white head. Aroma is spices and well water. Taste is sweet pale malt, yet there is a dry crispness to it. Also note the presence of cinnamon and nutmeg. Hard to taste the sweet potatos, other than perhaps as uncooked. Subtle and quite decent.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange. Wait, what? Sweet potato. It works really well. I think this is a much better fall adjunct beer than pumpkin beers. Nutmeg. Well done.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The color of this beer is a hazy orange with a minimal white head, and the aroma mixes cinnamon, clove, and a hint of sweet potato. The taste is mildly sour and slightly sour, and the palate has a medium body, average carbonation, slick texture, and a medium-length, spice-filled finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
October 29, 2013 - bottle from Randall’s. Clear dark orange pour with some head. Aroma was sweet potatoes, spice, vanilla, nutty and woody. Taste had a lot of the sweetness initially, then moved quickly into the spice and the finish was a touch dry, nutty and quite a bit of wood.
