COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prussia Berliner Style Weiss is our summer seasonal. The name originates from Frederick the Great who ultimately became the King of Prussia. Frederick was trained in brewing this very delicate style of beer. Our version is traditional in style. Prussia pours a hazy straw color with a nice tart finish.

Appearance is a pale straw yellow and surprisingly clear. Wheat must have settled. No discernable head. Aroma is green apple, lemon, earthy funkiness. Taste is distinct apple juice, champagne, with a hint of wheat malt that gives way to a lime tasting acidity and sourness. Not nearly as pronounced tartness as typical for the style. Seems like itís "green" and not fully developed. Mouthfeel is light with little to almost no carbonation. Finishes dry with a very light acidity remaining on the tongue.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste citrus, sour, lemon. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin off white head. Aroma is sweet, lemony. Has light carbonation, weak and watery. Taste is tart on the back end. This is very sour, tastes a bit like bananas with a dish soap bitterness. Disappointing.

This was lighter but pretty refreshing for a summer day. Pours hazy honey amber with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is subtle sweet and tart yeast. Flavor brings a lighter body and more sweet than tart flavors for sure.

Keg @ 4 Hands. Light gold with a small head. Lactic funk, lemon soap cake. Taste is pretty weak and watery. Dish soap, more lemon. Light body, soft carbonation. Underwhelming.

Bomber. Pours clear gold with a very large fizzy head. Aromas are of soggy paper and a hint of lemon. Flavor is fairly similar... kind of a flabby papery flavor up front that transitions to just a hint of tartness and a kind of metallic edge. Iím not sure if something just didnít work with this particular batch or whether 4 Hands just makes a lousy Berliner Weisse.

Poured a cloudy yellow color with aromas if light tart lemons and some wheat. Flavors are light lemon, wheat and some wet cardboard. Donít know ow if the off flavor is from the bottle but still decent.

Refrigerated brown bomber from BMart poured into a trappist glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is slightly tart wheat, light body, medium carbonation which dies very quickly, and little lacing. Taste is tart soft wheat. Expected more flavor.
