Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has some earthy and flora yeast with a bit of pear underlying. Flavor has a light sweet grain with some pear and flora underlying.

Draft - Banana, bubblegum and some spice. Clear golf with a decent white head. As it smells, which is a hef. Not really a good saison.

Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is kind of thin, maybe a bit of pears. Taste is peppery with a sweetness of pears. Has a hint of a Belgian yeast flavor, which is interesting. The back end is bland. Itís nothing special.

Pours a beautiful bright orange with a smaller head than I would expect based on other saisons Iíve had. Light pear juice aroma, definitely some orange. Some ripe banana. Taste has that Belgian yeast quality to it along with some citrus. Not as peppery as I thought it would be. Overall this is an excellent saison.

Bottled: The additions makes this less that traditional but I really like the pear and white pepper character working with the normal "bubblegummy", earthy and clove notes of the yeast. Sprite carbonation opens the palate as well. I really dig this even if "not to style"

Bomber. Pours a pale, burnt orange, clear with minimal head and lacing. Nose is yeast, slight funk, chardonnay, bread, pepper. Mouth is medium bodied, slightly creamy up front, clove, pepper, biscuit, yeasty spice, mild bitter towards middle, then goes doughy and the pears make a light appearance towards the finish. Nice!

Poured from 22oz bottle, label was stamped mid March 2014, so just about as young as can be found. Vigorous carbonation. Peppery aroma. Very forward pepper taste. Some tart sweetness (presumably from the pear), but then more pepper squeezing out siloed hay and malt flavors. A chilled subsequent pour slightly muted the pepper and elevated the malt. Unmemorable except for the pepper; not a fan.
