Bottle shared by noodleuser. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a medium fizzy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, biscuit malt and fruity esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness with supporting malt and fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

22 oz bottle. Hazy orange brown with a white head. Nose is yeast and light citrus peel. Medium light with foamy carb. Taste is yeast, lime and green pepper with hints of pear. Underwhelming but decent.

Bomber. Pyrus pours a hazy light straw color with a massive head and aromas of honey, pears, grass/hayfield and maybe white grape juice. Flavor is sweet and sharp, with an almost boozy edge to it that I often find in French versions of the Saison genre. Even at 6% there is a little warmth, but more than that an alcoholic sharpness that doesn’t sit quite right. It seems to abate a bit as the beer warms though and the honey/pear sweetness comes through much cleaner. Not my favorite, but decent enough. Oddly, I don’t pick up on either the orange zest or the pepper...

On tap at 4 Hands, pours a bright light gold with a thin head, the aroma is of yeast and tart pear, the fruit really comes through, nice, the aroma is much of the same with some tart fruit in the front end with a yeast and barnyard like finish, real clean though, crisp through out, very nice.

Draft at the Bridge Tap House in STL. Pours a light golden, slightly hazy. Crisp floral, grassy hops. A dry golden saison, for sure. Some white pepper. Not the expected yeast profile. Solid, but unassuming.

The appearance is a pure hazy yellow color with a medium white head that fades to a thin layer on top of the liquid. The aroma of this beer hits you strongly in the nose, but it is a pleasant whiff of sour fruit (specifically pear), and the taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, which grows on your tongue, with the former (unfortunately) overpowering the latter. The palate, however, is a very pleasant combination of an average carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and a slightly sour finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5768) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was bretty, musty, orange and a bit of pepper. The flavor was brett, bread, must, honey, orange, Windex and pepper. Long finish of brett, bread, honey, orange and Windex. A touch astringent and turns a bit dry at the very end. Medium body. Nice.
