Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is moderately earthy and peppery. Hint of citrus. Med body. Flavor is peppery, earthy, and has a bit of zest that pops up mostly in the finish. Struggling to find pear, but the other flavors are so zingy Iím not sure Iíve got it. This is a really tasty beer, and seems pretty much to style.

On tap @ 4 Hands. Pours a bright golden color with a white head. Starts off with kind of a weird ketchup aroma. Really sweet pear, hints of acidic apple, sweet sugar, and some bread. Subtle spice and yeast as well. Flavor is heavy on the sugar and sweetness. Lots of pear and baked apple. Light yeast, spice, and grassy hops. Some orange and lemon peel, too.

Bottle shared around a campfire in the Root Glen - Hamilton College, Clinton, NY. Thanks to the Duke for this one. Solid beer. Moderately sweet with some herbal qualities, sugary pale and doughy bread. Modest Belgian yeast expression. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly bitter to finish with some piney herbs and more sweet, pale bread. Good stuff.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Big white peppery, zesty citrusy, dry straw/herbal aroma. Somewhat juicy, white peppery, grainy/grassy, straw, a bit tangy flavor with a dry, peppery finish. Overall, not bad.

Bottle... Pours hazy and yellow with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Great retention. I can really smell the pears and spicy peppercorns in here. Also, Iím picking up some lightly floral and fruity hops complimented by a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is fruity, juicy and a touch too sweet. Finishes crisp with lingering sweetness. Including pears as an ingredient was probably a bad ideaÖ simply because I donít like pears. Also, too much residual sugar for my taste; otherwise, this beer is solid. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

Bomber from Caponeís. Pours hazy bright canary gold colored with 1-finger white head and a lot of carbonation. Nose is apple, pear, orange zesty citrus, peppery spice, and mild florals. Tastes very dry, floral, and white pepper spicy, with notes of limey citrus, big hops, and finishing bone dry yeasty pear and apple notes.
