3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very nice ruby copper and red in color, with aromas of licorice, almonds, and dried stone fruit. First thing upon tasting is the softness of the beer, with a sweet tropical fruit to start and a light pine needle bitterness in the finish. More delicate than expected.

Clear brown-red, light white head. Molasses, deep stale hay. Touch of bitterness, deep back of the mouth sweetness. Medium body, chewy some oiliness. Decent.

Pours a copper red with medium head. Aroma of malt and mandrin oranges. Tastes smoth and dry on the palate. Thin mouth feel. Very tasty!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aroma is predominantly biscuits and sweet citrus. It pours a copper clear with a medium soapy head that reduces down to a very thin ring with a crystal clear surface. The taste is a medium sweet and light bitter. The texture is relatively light, with a creamy carbonation and a medium full body. It finishes with a biscuits note, but also some caramel and ice cream. There’s definitely some citrus in there too with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Its dry and leaves a dry, biscuits aftertaste.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle (purchased at Kenwood Liquors Oak Lawn) into my favorite pint glass. Very foamy and lacey (slight ice cap from 15 min in the freezer) Tastes like an IPA red cream soda if there was such a thing, and cream soda is good.

Red pour with ruby hints and creamy tan head and lace. Citrus hops dominate the nose along with caramel malt. Sweet biscuit malt flavor with a nice citrus bitter finish. Medium bodied and fizzy. still a nice beer

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a deep amber with a big head and some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is pretty much the most stereotypical hoopy amber ale I’ve ever laid nose to. Caramel heavy with a bit of fruity happiness, overly sweet smelling and not appetizing.... still far from offensive.
The flavor does a far better job of charming me than the aroma does. Everything is in a nice enough balance here... there are juicy hops but the bitterness is mild. There is caramel malt character with some light toastiness but the sweetness is mild. It’s got a lot of citrus and melon hop character that is more dominant than any other flavor. it’s really very tasty.
chill enough I suppose.

Taster on tap at the brewery during RBSG. Clear orange amber color. Thin ring of white head. Decent loose bits of lace. Awesome long centennial tropical fruity light piney hop aroma. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Bigger bitter taste, minimal sweet. Solid hoppy red ale.
