The Centennial hop is the centerpiece of our American Red Ale. Reprise pushes the limits of a single hop with an amazing bouquet and stunning bitterness all the way through. The citrus character provides an experience you will want to repeat. Reprise is crimson in color with aromas of citrus fruit and biscuit malts.

Bomber. Pours a nice copper (more orange than red to my eyes) with a very large frothy head that sticks around for a long time. Aromas are a nice mix of pine and pineapple with just a hint of caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is alright, but not my favorite. The beer starts off kind of watery, then transitions to a very quick caramel flavor, and finally settles on a pine and resin finish. I guess it gets better as it warms a bit and the wateriness seems to settle out, but something about the initial hit on the palate could be better in my book.

The appearance of this brew is impressive with its fusion of a white pillowy head, large sediment that settles on the bottom in an ugly way, and a gorgeous opaque auburn color. The aroma blends scents of floral and resin hops with a toasted malt undertone, and the taste quite bitter (that diminishes surprisingly quick), slightly sweet, and a touch sour; furthermore, the palate combines medium body, sticky texture, astringent finish, and a soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a nice bright red and orange. The aroma is strong of hops, inviting. The hops are muted big time in the taste. Get more malt than anything with some faint hops. Very opposite than what I was expecting. Better than your average amber ale, not as good as your average ipa.

Pours a deep amber color with a very nice, pillowy off white head. Aroma has a strong citrus grapefruit and orange note, mild caramel malt sweetness. Flavor starts off with a very pronounced centennial hops presence. Lots of orange, mild grapefruit, some flowery with a very well balanced caramel and biscuit malt flavor late to help cut some of the hops. Body is modest but very crisp. Overall a very good brew. Low alcohol, lots of flavor without having to go to the extreme.

Pours a hazy reddish amber with a medium creamy off white lacing head. Aroma of citrus and pine along with a doughy light toasted malt profile. Flavor of the same citrus and piney hop notes the nose had along with a nice nutty, caramel and toasted malt profile.

Poured from the tap at ITAP Soulard. Aroma of grapefruit and pine and a hint of malts. Big taste of juicy grapefruit and piney hops. Nice malty note in the back for balance. Bitter bite from start to finish.
