COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Centennial hop is the centerpiece of our American Red Ale. Reprise pushes the limits of a single hop with an amazing bouquet and stunning bitterness all the way through. The citrus character provides an experience you will want to repeat. Reprise is crimson in color with aromas of citrus fruit and biscuit malts.

Draft at 4 Hands in a sampler tray. Pours a bright, clear red amber color with a small eggshell white head that leaves a thin sheet of trailing lace. Nice hoppy aroma, with grapefruit, pine resin, some floral notes, and caramel malts. The flavor is just as citrusy, if not more, with a good deal of grapefruit along with resin, caramel malts, and a bit of biscuit. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a resinous, juicy mouthfeel. Really solid red ale.

Sampled at Four Hands Lupulin Carnival 2012 -Pours reddish copper with an off-white head. The aroma has fruity floral hops along with toasty rich malt. There’s also some pine and grapefruit mixed in there. Medium grainy body with a modest amount of sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma traits, but drier and a touch watery. It is hop forward with dry pine, earthy, grapefruit rind and crackery malt. The finish is resiny and hoppy. Good, but not much in the way of balance.

Draught at Mango (not a great restaurant) in St. Louis. Light bodied red without the intense hoppy character of many reds these days. Nice malt and bitterness. Enjoyable.

On tap at the brewery over X-Mas. Lots of citrus and pine on the nose from the hops. Color like a late-harvest orange with off-white head. Chewy mouthfeel. Nice citrus up front and great, clean bitter finish.

Sampled at the brewpub. It poured an amber color with a small white head. The aroma was of citrus hops, pine, a hint of grapefruit and some malt. The flavor was pretty much in line with the aroma. A very good Amber Ale.

On tap at the Ferguson Brewhouse. Served a nice amber color with an off-white head that fades to nice lacing. Aroma is a mixture of grapefruit and pine with a bit of caramel in the background. Taste follows the aroma with a citrus bite and a bit of caramel sweetness. The bitterness is present trough out with and unexpected dry finish. Fairly medium body and nice carbonation. Interesting beer with lots of character. Most amber beers are really laid back but this one wants attention. Check it out.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus hops, pine and a touch of grapefruit. Flavor is pretty much along the same lines with a bit of sweet malts present. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty good beer.

Tap at brewpub. Pour is deep clear reddish brown with a medium white head. Aroma is loaded with resinous hop and a touch of pine. Very subtle lightly sweet malt backbone. Flavor is true to nose with resinous hop dominating but balanced well by the lightly malty backbone. Certainly big on the hops but not messy at all. Good offering.
