The Centennial hop is the centerpiece of our American Red Ale. Reprise pushes the limits of a single hop with an amazing bouquet and stunning bitterness all the way through. The citrus character provides an experience you will want to repeat. Reprise is crimson in color with aromas of citrus fruit and biscuit malts.

Pours a deep amber color with a very nice, pillowy off white head. Aroma has a strong citrus grapefruit and orange note, mild caramel malt sweetness. Flavor starts off with a very pronounced centennial hops presence. Lots of orange, mild grapefruit, some flowery with a very well balanced caramel and biscuit malt flavor late to help cut some of the hops. Body is modest but very crisp. Overall a very good brew. Low alcohol, lots of flavor without having to go to the extreme.

Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a deep amber with a big head and some lacing on the glass.

The aroma is pretty much the most stereotypical hoopy amber ale I’ve ever laid nose to. Caramel heavy with a bit of fruity happiness, overly sweet smelling and not appetizing.... still far from offensive.

The flavor does a far better job of charming me than the aroma does. Everything is in a nice enough balance here... there are juicy hops but the bitterness is mild. There is caramel malt character with some light toastiness but the sweetness is mild. It’s got a lot of citrus and melon hop character that is more dominant than any other flavor. it’s really very tasty.

chill enough I suppose.

Taster on tap at the brewery during RBSG. Clear orange amber color. Thin ring of white head. Decent loose bits of lace. Awesome long centennial tropical fruity light piney hop aroma. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Bigger bitter taste, minimal sweet. Solid hoppy red ale.

On tap @ 4 Hands. Pours deep amber in color with a white head. Tons of pine, woody herbs, and floral hops. Some toasted bread, toffee, and caramel malt. Flavor is a touch sweet up front with some bitter woody herbs and pine on the finish. Light citrus, a bit of toffee, caramel, and toast. Good bitterness.

Draft on tap at the brewery (St. Louis, MO). RBSG 2014 Friday Bus Tour. Pours a deep copper glowing hue, largely transparent with nice glow, deep hues and frothy offwhite head atop that dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are centennial floral/grapefruit hops. Some earth, gentle toastiness, bread and mellow touches of carmelized elements. The hops offer some life up front, decent bitterness, touches of grapefruit, florals and earth. A bit toasty, gentle red type malt profile. Not much body and pretty approachable. Finish is a bit bitter, dry and gentle toast, soap linger on. Solid stuff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma combines sweet grains and grassy hops with a bit of pine bite. Flavor has a bit of citrus, pine and grass with a nice grain backing.
