A smoked rye maple porter. A collaboration with Pappy’s Smoke House. Smoked Pigasus is a robust and delicious porter brewed with rye, smoked malt, and maple syrup. the maple syrup provides a perfect balance for the smoked malt. Smoked Pigasus pours a deep mahogany with aromas of chocolate, smoke, and caramel. A big thank to Pappy’s Smokehouse!

Empressive. Sweet smoke..no bitter. Nice aroma. Very smooth. Could be bolder but still a nice smoked porter overall.

Bomber crushed with my Jakebra. For whatever reason, green olives dominates the aroma for me. Flavor is very different and has a very pleasant smoky meat aspect to it. Not crazy about it, but drinkable.

Enjoyed at the brewpub, pours a very dark brown with a red hue and a tan head, the aroma has a slight amount of smoke and has a nice amount of sweetness coming through too, the flavor has a smokey front end with a chocolate like finish, really interesting.

On tap, poured into a "mini-hefe" glass (12-16oz?). The aroma is dry with notes of smoke, maple syrup, and and underlying chocolate coffee and bread crust. It’s a rich, dark cola-caramel hue with a dense, tan foam head that has good retention and a light lace. The taste is a medium sweet with a slightly less intense bitter. The beer’s texture is smooth and creamy with a fuzzy carbonation and a medium body. Flavors of light maple syrup and roasty chocolate are most noticeable with notes of light rye and dark fruit poking through. The finish is crisp and clean with a spicy rye grain and a developing maple flavor. The aftertaste is remarkable fresh clean with a chalky clove and a lightly smokey, dry maple.

Draft at baileys range. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Some solid malt notes on the nose. A bit of smoky malt on the tongue but its not as pronounced as I hoped. Finishes clean. Solid but not spectacular.

Draft. Brown pour, a nice dry porter, hints of vanilla, not all that smoky, just a pleasant dirnk.

Pours a clear, dark,ruby-chestnut brown with a taupe head. Sweet, nutty, and light smoky aromas. Moderately thick with a fine carbonation burn. Nutty and mildly smoky, with a bitterness that balances the sweetness.

Very smoky, dark porter. While smoky in taste, it's incredibly smooth and drinkable for even the softest of drinkers. I'd recommend pairing with barbecue, steak, or chocolate cake.
