COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Columbus Tomahawk Zeus is the primary hop variety in War Hammer as well as the inspiration for the name. We use a combination of Pacific Northwest hops to create layers of pungent flavors. A generous malt bill adds biscuit and honey notes while allowing the hops to take center stage. War Hammer pours golden in color with aromas of pineapple, mango, tangerine, resin, & slight earthy notes. Drink fresh!

Pours hazy golden with 1 finger head that lingers, leaving medium to heavy lacing. Toasted malt with grapefruit and tropical fruit mediumbitter hops. Medium body, moderate, pleasant carbonation. Long bitter finish. This is a great imperial IPA.

Draft at taproom. Pours light Orange with a thin white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Floral leafiness on the nose. A bit of citrus hops in the nose. Hides itís booze well though it feels a bit thin on the tongue. Solid but not spectacular.

ryecatcher (938) - South Side of Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2015
Bomber. Pours a somewhat hazy, dark burnt-orange, smallish off-white head with lackluster retention and lacing. Nose is loaded with sticky hop fruitiness: orange, pineapple, melon, fresh figs, strawberries, with some biscuity malt, white pepper, and fresh cut cedar. Mouth is medium-full, sticky palate, mild bitterness, a bit of malt sweetness, a whole fuckload of fruit (see the nose), Juicy Fruit gum, some soapiness, finishes nice. Solid brew from a solid brewer.

Bottle at Jamesí for the multi-K tasting. Pours a faintly hazed gold with a thin white head. Big citrus and sticky hops on the nose. Medium bodied, big sticky citrus. Long grapefruit fueled bitterness. Sticky citrus. Long bitterness. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Big dank pine and dirty citrus, moderate bitterness, and a long piney hoppy finish. A hop bomb for sure, but not too over-the-top. Pretty dope.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy light amber orange color with a light tan head. Aroma is a delicious fleshy tropical fruit sweetness with a mild bitter. Flavor is moderately bitter, but well balanced by the fruity hop character. Medium oily body but hides the abv quite well. Solid beer.
