bottle, thanks marty. yellow with a faint haze and short-lived head; plenty of banana in the aroma though with not much earthy spice to balance it; quite sweet, hints of lemon sorbet. pleasant though unmemorable

Pours a cloudy yellow with a foamy white head. Loads of banana aroma with a little citrus and clove. Flavour is banana dominated with some sweet wheaty and citrus flavours. Not a typical hefe but enjoyable nonetheless

Bottle. Hefe’s from the bottle always seem to disappoint unless they are top notch to begin with. Will have to go and try this on tap.

Sweetish, well-balanced example with light phenols, hint if hop dryness. Well- done, maybe needs a fuller body

Smells like banana sundae. Tastes like banana bread with cinnamon and a light bite to it due to the carbonation. I like this beer. Nice easy drinking. Kind of like your half-decent blockbuster movie - you know it's not going to win any Oscars but is enjoyable nonetheless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Second Rating: Quite a tart hefe, lots more fruit than the usual, takes some flavours from a belgian wit more so than a hefeweizen in some ways. First Rating (2.7/5): Weak flora/citrus, slight clove aroma. Very pale straw, thin white head. A bit too bitter and carbonated for a hefeweizen for me, slightly too hoppy as well. Drinkable just not a great hefeweizen.

Hazy yellow with a big white head and good lacing. Aroma of banana and straw. Flavors of banana, grainy and citrus
This was a real good Hefe, full flavored.

Bottle courtesy of Mike at Brothers, thank you sir! Hazy very pale yellow color, small whitebhead. Aroma of light citrus. Taste is more shandy than hefe.

Draught at the brewpub on July 14, 2013. As part of a tasting paddle.
Listed to have 17 IBU.
Hazy to cloudy straw yellow color, white head. Sweet, yeasty, sugary, estery banana, clove phenolic taste, well balanced and fresh. Smooth mouthfeel with some noticeable co2, rather low bitterness. Banana, sweet aftertaste. Sweet, esterty, banana, smooth scent. Some lacing left from the head on the glass.

330ml bottle from DM’s (too small for this style if you ask me). Huge loose white head above a hazy straw yellow beer. Nose has banana, lemony citrus and soft spices. Palate is disappointingly watery and brief with a lightish body and typical sweetish flavours, but nothing stands out. Over carbonated.
