2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light amber-yellow body is capped with a large white head that dies down to a thin cap with lcing evident. Not much on the nose, a bit of fruit and maybe a little pepper. Taste is mainly citrus with a sweet undertone. Quite light with a short palate. While it’s not particularly interesting, it is nicely balanced and quite refreshing. Not bad, but not a real winner.

4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This beer is a little lighter than a traditional Kolsch but it is the most exquisite beer I have ever had.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tapped out a clear deep gold. 3°SRM.
Mouthfeel was carbonated and a little watery. Palate was fruity with floral and aromatic accents that lit on the palate very lightly. Other noticeable flavors were flour, pale malt sweet, water biscuit and grape.
Brief bitter finish. Quite a pleasant ride overall.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Golden, fine pearling carbonation, white lace. Cardboard malt nose. Hayes malt, light berry notes, low on bittering hops, dusty finish. Medium light chewy body. A bit muddled, needs to be cleaner to emulate a Kölsch.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft pours clear bright yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Meh aroma, cereal grains, some mild hint of putridness, but don’t take that the wrong way, it’s fine. Very bland flavor for a kolsch. Bare minimum without a single extra piece of flair. Medium light bodied, drinkable if nothing else. MEH!!!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A golden straw colour with quite subdued citrus aromas. The taste is decent light malt and citrus hop, and it goes down smoothly on a summer’s day, crisp and a little dry. Much more like a golden ale, and a half decent one.

Not familiar with the Kolsh style so 1st try. If I compare to normal golden ale certainly a bit more flavour. Summer drop.

Pours a semi clear/hazy straw colour with a moderate white head that dissipates quickly. Medium to low carbonation. Aroma is a floral lemon/lime. Slight malt into a small crisp hop finish. Slight butterscotch flavour towards the back of the palette.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light, but missing most of the kolsch style. No crispness, no hop bite. As noted earlier, kind of bland
