3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: High hops, pine, resin, citrus, fruity.
Appearance: Brilliant, amber body. Medium, off-white head, fair retention.
Flavour: Medium-high citrus, fruity. Medium resin, but not heavy. Medium-light bitterness. Medium-light balancing maltiness. Dry finish with lingering resin.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Hop forward, but not overpowering or excessively bitter. Color is slightly too dark for a pale ale, and head retention can be better. Maltiness balances the beer, but it lacks a bit of bitterness, making the beer not as crisp as it should be.
330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Brendan!
18B. American Pale Ale.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2016 A current favourite. From a bottle. Very drinkable and pleasant beer, a Saturday afternoon beer with cheese. Citris pine flavours with malt layer. Enjoyably complex, yet smooth and fruity. Smells good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle from BWS Broadbeach) A bright clear copper pour with an average white head and some lace. Aroma is lightly sweet honeyed malt, floral, pine, pale stone fruits, grapefruit peels, a bit musty and skunky. Flavour has lightly to moderately sweet malts, dark honey or light caramel character, biscuit, pine, grapefruit pith, floral, wet grass and green onion, skunky. Slightly toasted, herbal spicy oniony finish is dry and lightly bitter. Light to medium bodied, active carbonation. A decent enough pale ale, a touch malty and not that bright a hop profile but it’s rather dry and thus drinkable.

Tastes kind of like my sister.... someone relatable that i spend a lot of time with, but if i spend too much time with her it just starts getting weird.

330mL bottle, BeerBud Advent Pack. Rich amber with foamy head and moderate carbonation. Refreshing piney resinous stonefruits aroma. Malty flavours topped off with caramel and citrus. Good length and balance overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
5.1%ABV. American Pale Ale.
Tapped out a clear dark amber. 14°SRM.
The nose has some righteously roasted malt aroma that was just inviting. Really opened up the palate for the first mouthful.
Mouthfeel was soapy and thick with a well balanced carbonation. The palate had flavors of browned wheat toast, honey puffs, toasted hazelnuts, and toffee.
The finish was hoppy and medium-long with pronounced hop character represented by pine, grass and resin. Faintly hyssop with some nice fresh herb bitterness. Not enough to be an IPA, but almost getting there. Quite unexpected.
