Stated to have 35 IBU, served as "American Style".
Clear copper color, tan head. Malty, sweet, crisp, bitter, hoppy, red berries, hints of grapefruit and other sweeter citrus fruits taste. Fairly smooth mouthfeel, medium to medium high bitterness with a slight mineral finish. Sweet, malty, fresh, hoppy scent.

bottle - xmas day drinks. steady amber with a thin beige head; aroma of grapefruit and trail mix; like most australian attempts at american ales, the bitterness is a bit lower than it should be. clean and okay for a session beer, i guess

3rd beer tried at 4 pines. Orangey bronze body. Grapefruit sweet full aroma with the balance between the hops and the malt but not enough of either , actually a little bit dull but easily drinkable.

maneliquor (2782) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 23, 2011
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Thought this one was an easy sessionable pale but didn’t really have anything going for it. Slight bitterness to finish it off but nothing else is really there

Draught at the brewpub, a light copper. Caramel on the nose. Fruity with a light toffee malt in the mouth, on a light toasted palate.

ALLOVATE (2281) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 19, 2013
Produced up a deep orange with excellent clarity and void of visible carbonation. Head does nothing to rise any further than a film of white that to its credit leaves a fine lace. Tangy, underripe fruit, citrus, pear and pineapple over hints of pine-needles and stinging nettles - very pleasing. Plasant bitter, herbal balanced by a sweet honey malt front. A level of pine, orange zest, pale grain, chamomile and camphor gives it depth. Good body as it warms up with low carbonation and and oily finish. Nice length, dry and lasting bleeding out the initial sweetness. Very sessionable stuff. Not over the top but just a great pale ale. Nice! (33cL, BB 29/08/13, Liquor Baron’s Ocean Reef)
