A dry Irish style stout, presenting almost black, bearing a generous tan head. The aroma profile is of coffee, chocolate and caramel malts. These are matched on the pallet with a full bodied, smooth finish and a balancing bitterness. Currently being tested to become the first certified ‘space beer’ in the world! Pitch black poor with a nice superb mocha head that laces the glass really well. Bit thin for me overall in taste aroma and flavour. Drinkable but just not tasty enough a stout for me.

Very nice balanced stout, not too sweet ,bitter enough, great dark flavours. Sharing with others, one thought it could be sweeter, one thought it was just right. Drink it it is good.

Really starting to like this beer of late, lovely smooth coffee dominated aroma, with coffee being the dominant taste in this beer. What I like most is the very moderate creaminess, not too thick as to make it unsessionable, but thick enough to really satisfy a stout craving. This also contributes to a very pleasant mouth feel, which is soft, sticky and a little bitter. A fairly simple brew, but the balance is key here and this beer nails it for me.

Black tar appearance with choc head. Wonderfully smooth and well balanced bitterness. I’ll have it in mars.

Pours jet black with light chocolate coloured head. The aroma is roasted barley with bitter dark chocolate. Flavour is the same as the aroma but slightly less pronounced

Pours very dark, almost black with a thin brown head. Aroma of roasted malt. Chocolate, caramel and malt comes through in the taste.

A lovely velvety stout. Massive head and lots of lasting charcoal. The taste just keeps on. Very nice.

Pleasant enough easy drinking stout that’s nearly black with a tan head. As the blurb says chocolate and coffee mostly with a hint of licorice.

Bottle. [thanks bluebetty]
Deep brown to black with a big, fizzy, frothy, beige head. Aroma has fine chocolate, dry roasted malts, soft nuttiness. High carbonation, softly dry and creamy mouthfeel (despite the carbonation). Flavour is soft, elegant, dry roasted, peanuts, coffee, chocolate. Lingering, malty dry and bitter finish. Nice stout.

Bottle. Back body, beige head. Strong coffee aromas with dark chocolate and dark roasted malts. Quite light bodied for the style with a smooth mouthfeel and well balanced sweet-bitter flavour profile.
