3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ 406. Light amber with a small head. Aroma is sugar, Belgian yeast esters and some floral and citrus. Flavor is sweet sugar with some zesty citrus and yeast and alcoholic esters. Medium body with a slightly syrupy mouth feel. This is way too sweet, calling something “Belgian style” doesn’t mean it should be a sweet mess. This was better than Bozeman Brewing’s version though.

Draft at the brewery. Best I had here. Light copper with a sticky but thin head. This drinks with a fairly viscuous character. Rich with big hops but adds a little yeasty, sugary kick to earn the "Bel" part of the name. Delicious beer. (#4647, 7/4/2012)
