COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry Irish Stout is a great session beer, with roasted barley and dark chocolate aromas, and a silky smooth finish. Served on Nitro.

On tap at prospector. Super good. Rich creamy full bodied. Would definitely get this again.

Draft at 49th State (nitro). Head is initially small, creamy, off-white, fully lasting. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (coffee, roasted grain, dark chocolate), with notes of chalk and minerals. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, creamy/watery texture, soft carbonation. Quite good for a nitro stout, which are almost always aromatically dull. Very roasty nose, good balance, etc. One of the better year-round standards here.

on tap @ Prospector’s / Denali Nat’l Park AK --- Clear very dark ruby brown color, solid beige head, sheets of lace. Good aroma of harsh malt. Taste is strong toasted malt with some bitter chocolate that grows smoothly through the swallow to a finish that needs no hops for balance. A "one-trick" brew, but that trick is really good.

Draft at the brewery. Nice classic appearance, black with a lasting one-finger tan head. Great roasty ashy aroma. The flavor is dry, roasty with bitter dark chocolate. Drying mouthfeel with very smooth carbonation. Love it.

Draft @ 49th State: Poured a thick black with a tan colored head. Aroma was malty. Taste is very nice roasted malt, but a smooth dry drinker. Nitro makes this fantastic.

On tap @ 49th State. Dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is mostly coffee and dark roasted malt with some light chocolate. Flavor is dry roasty malt, black coffee and a faint malt sweetness. Medium body with a nice dry finish. Very nice beer, lots of flavor and very drinkable.
