Iíve wanted to try this beer for a while and have liked some of their other varieties. The aroma is probably the toughest part to rate. Itís off a bit and doesnít do the beer any favors. Has an almost musty, sweaty, earthy smell. Pours a nice hazy golden yellow with a moderate white head that dissipates pretty quickly and leaves just slight lacing. I appreciate what they are trying to do, but not sure they accomplished it. Has lots of citrus and spice on the tongue that finishes with some exotic flavor. Not sure if itís passion fruit, but itís not bad. I probably wouldnít seek this one out, but it is a refreshing light wheat hybrid with exotic flavors that would be good over the hot summer. I give 5 Rabbit all the credit in the world for trying new things with exotic Latin flavors.

This ratingís from a 12-ounce bottle of "5 Lizard Latin-Style Witbier." (Whatís with the abbreviated names here?) Itís got a handsome Wit pour, a hazy straw body with a tall, dense white head. Even given the density of the head, ample aroma seeps through to tantalize the nose. Itís doughy with a wheaty tartness and a strong (but not overpowering) scent of undetermined blended spices. (I donít care what they are. It smells good.) The flavor is a lightly acidic wheat, a lemony tang, and some subtle spices that pepper the tongue. The finish is almost powder dry with spices and a prolonged lemony tartness. I like this brewery.

Tallahassee, Fl. - on tap at Momoís Market Square. Hazy, light gold light white head. Aroma of passion fruit. Flavor has some passion fruit fruitiness, some bubble gum, a hint of coriander, some sour sweet tart candy sourness. Thick enough mouthfeel . Kind of funky overall, but interesting and drinkable.

12oz bottle poured into a high ball glass. The aroma is a dry, sweet grapefruit, lime peel, floral, and tropical with a bit of a clove and/or coriander spiciness. It pours a very dense, cloudy yellow with a soft white head. The head reduces slowly to just a thin ring with a dusty surface. There are a couple spots of light lace, but itís mostly runny. The taste is a medium high sweet with a light bitter and a touch of tartness. Itís a creamy/oily texture with a medium-full, juicy body accompanied by an abundant, puffy, creamy carbonation. It finishes with passion fruit and a dry spiciness. Itís crisp and clean with a dry, mellow spicy aftertaste.

Bottle. Lemon, passionfruit, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow with moderate head. Sweet-tart orange/passionfruit and wheat malt flavor with light clove/coriander notes. More like a Berliner Weisse than the typical witbier - very nice.

Pours a dull cloudy mild dark off-yellow. Lots of citrus in the nose. Get some grapefruit, tropical fruit - no hops. Assume aroma is from adjuncts added. Medium mouthfeel, nice bite on the end. Overall a very nice summer low abv beverage. Nice job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at The Olympic Tavern, pours a hazy yellow with a creamy white head, the aroma has a slight tart touch with some hefe characteristics, the flavor has a tart fruit front end with a fruity finish, light mouthfeel but in a good way, could crush this in the summer, awesome lawnmower beer.
