3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, at Encore Liquid Lounge in the Loop. Fruity nose, but different than the usual wit nose. Hazy yellow color, the bottle pour bubbles can’t keep up, leaving a thin scrum of bubbles. But the taste is a big, big surprise: Not a hint of passion fruit, but a slap on the back. Makes for a different kind of fruity tartness. Some lime works in midway through, or sweetened key lime. And the spice? My fall back guess is cilantro or sage. After a summer parade of mild light wits and kölsches, this is a refreshing splash in the face.

On draft. Hazy yellow color with thin head. Lemon and a little tropical fruit aroma. Overwhelming flavor of citrus. Pretty carbonated. Not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle poured into a high ball glass. The aroma is a dry, sweet grapefruit, lime peel, floral, and tropical with a bit of a clove and/or coriander spiciness. It pours a very dense, cloudy yellow with a soft white head. The head reduces slowly to just a thin ring with a dusty surface. There are a couple spots of light lace, but it’s mostly runny. The taste is a medium high sweet with a light bitter and a touch of tartness. It’s a creamy/oily texture with a medium-full, juicy body accompanied by an abundant, puffy, creamy carbonation. It finishes with passion fruit and a dry spiciness. It’s crisp and clean with a dry, mellow spicy aftertaste.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Lemon, passionfruit, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow with moderate head. Sweet-tart orange/passionfruit and wheat malt flavor with light clove/coriander notes. More like a Berliner Weisse than the typical witbier - very nice.

Pours a dull cloudy mild dark off-yellow. Lots of citrus in the nose. Get some grapefruit, tropical fruit - no hops. Assume aroma is from adjuncts added. Medium mouthfeel, nice bite on the end. Overall a very nice summer low abv beverage. Nice job.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at The Olympic Tavern, pours a hazy yellow with a creamy white head, the aroma has a slight tart touch with some hefe characteristics, the flavor has a tart fruit front end with a fruity finish, light mouthfeel but in a good way, could crush this in the summer, awesome lawnmower beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy pale yellow color. Looks very "dry"-bodied. Not much head but that might be my pour. The depth of body is impressive.
Aroma is a mix of bubblegum, rose petals, and a creamsicle. Cotton candy sweetness with nary a hint of bitterness. Mimosa effervescence i the nostrils (including the champagne & orange.) It’s good if you like that kind of thing.
Taste is more like a dry white wine than a beer to me. Flower petals. Surprising STRONG orange juice here.
The feel is bubbly and chunky. This is the closest thing to a mimosa I’ve ever had in beer form. If you’re into that, go for it.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a pretty awesome witbier, one of my personal favorites after trying it again on draft. The passionfruit adds a great tartness and fruity/sweet character the gives the beer some heft. Really solid.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is typical wheat ale, yeast and faint passion fruit. Taste is wheaty and tart at the same time followed by muted spices and more fruity tartness for the finish. A really interesting wheat ale.
