Bottle, at Encore Liquid Lounge in the Loop. Fruity nose, but different than the usual wit nose. Hazy yellow color, the bottle pour bubbles canít keep up, leaving a thin scrum of bubbles. But the taste is a big, big surprise: Not a hint of passion fruit, but a slap on the back. Makes for a different kind of fruity tartness. Some lime works in midway through, or sweetened key lime. And the spice? My fall back guess is cilantro or sage. After a summer parade of mild light wits and kŲlsches, this is a refreshing splash in the face.

Color is a pale straw. Flavor is herbal and citrusy. Slightly reminiscent of floor cleaner in the nose. Overall light, crisp and refreshing.

Sampled at Elihah Ps during their pre opening event. Very hazy yellow gold with a big creamy white head. Lots of fruit here that includes lemons. Creamy. A hint of grapefruit and some banana. Pineapples and oranges. Nice fruity complexity. Sweet and tasty. Pleasant.

bottle. Hazy straw with one finger head. Tart with some limey citrus flavor. Mild wheaty body. Iím a big fan of well done wits, and while this deviates quite a bit from the classic style, itís a tasty, unique brew. Would like a bit more traditional spicing, but well done.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of lemon zest, lemongrass, coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A perfectly fine rendition thatís refreshing to drink thanks to the assertive tartness (almost puckering, but balanced well with the sweetness). The aroma is very lemony / lemongrassy...simple but pleasant enough. An easy quaffer.

Bottle. A- Passion fruit, coriander, spices, wheat, citrus, subtle funk. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Passion fruit, coriander, wheat, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, fruity spicy finish. O- At first sight, I expected this to be some shitty low quality brew from some random place. I bought it because I love Witbiers and I saw it had passion fruit so why not. Turned out to be quite good! Like any other Witbier but with definite passion fruit thrown in. If you arenít used to passion fruit it might taste a little off but I loved it. A little strong on the coriander and the lime was pretty minimal, but very very refreshing.

Rated on 01-29-2015 at The Brass Tap - Coconut Point, Estero, FL. This draft beer is presented with a small off-white head that is fully lasting, cloudy amber body and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is wheat malt, fruity, spicy, and coriander. The flavor is sweet, fruity, wheat malt, and light spice. The mouthfeel of this beer is smooth and this beer is light bodied. Overall, a quaffable and easy drinking beer.

So I grabbed this, uninspired like, just for the tick and to fill out my mix and match sixer. Little did I know it would be one of the more interesting beers I selected. Not that its a great one per se, but hey, some of the other beers were pretty bad. Anyways, hazy dull yellow, modest head. Big fruity nose and flavors, I never ate a passionfruit but this must be full of it. Tropical fruits, sweet, touches of a spicy and citrus character throughout. Semi-dry at the finish though, and balanced. As a witbier, any phenols were covered by the adjuncts, a welcome thing to do. Would one call this a Florida wit?

12 oz bottle courtesy of shrubber85. Bright cloudy yellow color that resembles grapefruit juice. Aroma is still really fresh with limes and juicy tropical fruits.

Flavor is much like the aroma with the juicy tropical fruit and lime with a mild tartness from the lime. Mouthfeel is soft with a mild, subdued spice in the finish. Very refreshing! One of the best in style I have had in a very long time. I wanted more when the glass was empty. And with the ABV so low it would be easy to kill 8 or 9 of these.

Frutada, com cheiro de maracuja, nada mais. Sem graÁa, sem harmonia. N„o vale a pena experimentar.

Pour on tap, hazy golden pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, wheaty notes into a bit of pear, some slight coriander, clove in there, hints of orange as well. Taste is a mix of grass, white fruit, some peach, pear, some hints of spice, coriander, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry. Pretty tasty.
