Definitely decent. Nice golden color, pretty tame nose: malt, some sugar, a bit of hops and wet sack. A crisp malt flavor with sugar and honey notes. Not bad.

12oz bottle from Mariano’s. Pours clear golden with white head. Aromas of pale malts and floral hops. Flavors of saaz and noble hops with some malt and light spices. Has decent amount of hops for style but not really my thing.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2012 Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate floral hop and soft malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft balanced brew.

12oz bottle. Mostly clear lighter orange color. Bigger, frothy off-white head, leaving good lace. Moderate, but crisp carbonation. Smoother texture. Metallic hop flavors, but more malt. Light bitter, kind of salty taste. Decent golden ale, but not interesting nor tasty nor refreshing.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pawola22 (2196) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 3, 2012
12oz bottle from Armanetti’s. Pours a crystal clear, pale golden colored body with an inch thick, dense, frothy and foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice, sticky lacing. Aroma is cereal grains with a bigger honey sweetness, a light dry grassiness, bready pils malts, and a light citrus. Flavor is better with some bready, honey sweetened cereal grains and a good amount of grassy citrus up front. Some florals in the middle with pils malts and a good amount of spicy hops. Finishes dry and a bit hop forward with a moderate bitterness that has some spicy grass while drying nicely with some bready, honey sweetened pils malts and lemon-citrus. Lengthy aftertaste following a light-medium body and somewhat lively, moderate carbonation. Overall, a very flavorful and well balanced golden ale. Fairly hop forward with a nice, slightly honey sweetenened pale malt backing. Crisp and dry with the typically great 5 Rabbit balance. Good beer.

I had this from bottle at Blind Robin in Chicago, IL. This just wasn’t good at all, I had their 5 Lizard which was passion fruit like, and this one I felt had that passion fruit vibe that just made it taste soapy, very very lemony/fruity and not really that good at all. I finished it, but towards the end I was choking it down.

Bottle quite awhile ago. Pours a deep golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, some honey and biscuit breadiness, noble hop spiciness. Flavor has a nice bright hoppiness to it, lively spicy hops, some citric character with a refreshing bready note. Finishes lightly bitter with a clean grainy character. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. Decent beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JMerritt (1588) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2011
Dark golden with a small, bright white head. Clean straw and hay aroma with subtle underlying honey and cantaloupe. Fresh grains, straw and saaz hops dominate the flavor. Mildly sour, lightly sweet finish. A nice session beer, but nothing necessarily sets it apart from the hundreds of others on the market (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Bottle from jrallen34. Orange with a thick, lasting white head. Nose is fruity, sweet and zesty, honey, cereal malts. Flavor is similar. Blah.
