COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gringolandia is an affectionate term used by many Latinos to refer to the United States. We’re using the term to paint a picture of our collective 5 Rabbit experience as a Latin-based company in the exciting melting pot that is 21st century Chicagoland, and to brew beers that reflect that experience. It’s our tribute to the American craft beer movement.

After staking out our Latin credentials with several exciting, ingredient-based beers in the “5″ series, we felt it was time to expand our range. These beers are our own interpretations of some popular craft beer styles, changed up a little to make them our own distinct beers different from anyone else’s.

Oh yes it is!Fabulosa Porter is a creamy, roasty porter with soft cocoa character. It is brewed with unmalted wheat for a smooth, milkshake texture. Chocolatey aroma, creamy cappuccino flavors, soft bittersweet finish.

Bottle from Ashley. Dark pour with a small off-white head. Aroma is slight spice, chocolate, and ash. Taste is more almost tamarind flavor, chocolate, and a dry finish.

12oz bottle thanks to one of the cousins from the barrio - nose is chocolate. On the sweet side of Porters with a distinct flavor I can’t identify (oyster?) that makes this one stand out. A breakfast beer.

120z bottle. Pours black with a foamy tan head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is of cocoa, malt and grass. Smells slightly roasty. Taste is of grass, bitter chocolate, and vanilla. Has a very bitter, almost acidic finish. Lingering grassy taste. After it warms up, a weird plastic taste comes through. Mouthfeel is very light and sticky. Its not terrible, I just don’t care much for it.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (roasted grain, cocoa powder, chocolate milk), with notes of vanilla and plastic. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation. Pretty sour and dirty in the mouth, and not much going on in the nose. Quite disappointing.

Pours black with minimum head. Smooth dark roasted flavor. Hints of chocolate and hops.

bottle. Deep brown with small head. Thin porter with mild roast and chocolate. Some vegetal notes as well detract from this. A bit below average.

On tap. Pretty standard porter. Dark brown some red tint. Chocolate, dark fruits, roasted malts, slightly nutty. Creamy and pretty heavy carbonation, which was strange. Okay.

Poured a dark think black color with little head. Decent nose with wet hops and coffee and chocolate that follows through to the taste.

Average porter at best. Roasted malt flavors, caramel dominate this one. Very carbonated and has a weird feel on the tongue. Smells like toasted malts. Pours black with a thin cream head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at the FF tasting. Poured a dark brown with lighter reddish edges and an average sized foamy beige head. Aroma/flavor of oxidation, cardboard, old chocolate, bad dates, nuts, bread and dough. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation.
