3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle pours a clear golden color with small disappearing white head and a little lacing. Aroma has bready malts, light yeast, and grass, Taste is slightly sweet with a long dry finish. Body is medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden, until it creeps up on you, which made this a surprising pilsener for me. I doubt I’ll search for it again, though.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Trade Joes, Chicago. Yellow color and a good jead, theu got the appearance right. Sadly it is downhill from there. Some noble hops but not enougj, and to get the alcohol up, they used a lot of malt which makes this too sweet.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home. Grassy aroma. Sweet malt flavor, bit of grass, hops profile is kind of floral for a pils. High ABV is well hidden. Decent.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Clear medium amber, white head cover, sheets of lace. Taste is straight malt that adds solid carbonation on the swallow, then moving. To strong floral hops for a long finish. Pretty straightforward, although there are hints of grass and of light ice.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is sweet syrupy malt with a bit of malt liquor like adjunct filler. Flavor is again a heavy sweet malt with a bit grassiness but finishes with some corn syrup thick sweetness. It does not have a horrible taste or aftertaste. It’s just a heavy, sweet, thick malt. I don’t get Impy pils as a style.

Big foamy head, darker and maltier than your average lager, with a slight sweetness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft pour. The beer is a clear gold with a white head. The aroma has grassy, herbs, dried fruit, and some light bandaid. The taste is fairly bitter and herbal throughout. It gets a little resinous. Medium body and medium carbonation. It gets a bit astringent, but is still mostly drinkable.
