4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
An excellent Pils! Most Ratebeer members favor the heavier beers, especially IPAs and Imperial IPAs. So, the lighter beers (Pils, lagers and wheats) never seem to rate as high as heavier beers. Do not be deceived by the ratings, Gringolandia Super Pils is an excellent Pils. A bold, clean, crisp beer with a hint of fruit. I almost made the mistake of not trying this beer due to lower ratings, but my local package store clerk strongly recommended Gringolandia. A great beer.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
3/4/16. On tap at The Craft Bar - Grand Blvd. For Frank. Clear golden pour under a nice off-white head, good lacing. Great aroma, doughy pils malts, grassy, a spicy kick, crackery. Disappointing flavor, bracingly bitter and mildly astringent, the malt backbone is too sweet, grassy hops. Would be top notch with a better flavor. Eh.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
2/19/2016: Sweet and grainy with some floral/herbal hop flavor and mild level of bitterness, fruity with a slight sourness in the finish; hazy pale golden color and any average body and mouth feel; although the alcohol is well-hidden, this beer just okay (average at best) as itís just not what I want when I am in the mood for a Pils. High alcohol or not, a Pilsner should be crisp, refreshing, clean, and sharply hopped and this is none of that. Draught at Mitaís in Cincinnati, Ohio.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is wet grain and very ripe fruit. Flavor is similar to nose. Iím not too keen on pilsnerís that lean on the sweet side. This beer isnít for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle pours a clear golden color with small disappearing white head and a little lacing. Aroma has bready malts, light yeast, and grass, Taste is slightly sweet with a long dry finish. Body is medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden, until it creeps up on you, which made this a surprising pilsener for me. I doubt Iíll search for it again, though.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Trade Joes, Chicago. Yellow color and a good jead, theu got the appearance right. Sadly it is downhill from there. Some noble hops but not enougj, and to get the alcohol up, they used a lot of malt which makes this too sweet.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has notes of crisp grains with a bit of straw and a touch of a grass note. Flavor has a bit of sweet grain with some straw, a touch of grass and a light crispness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home. Grassy aroma. Sweet malt flavor, bit of grass, hops profile is kind of floral for a pils. High ABV is well hidden. Decent.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ Jungle Jimís / Eastgate OH --- Clear medium amber, white head cover, sheets of lace. Taste is straight malt that adds solid carbonation on the swallow, then moving. To strong floral hops for a long finish. Pretty straightforward, although there are hints of grass and of light ice.
