A beer that captures the summer fun of Paletas, the Spanish word for "popsicles". Brewed with Brazilian guava, pink peppercorn, tarragon and orange blossom water, this sessionable wheat beer is a more sophisticated alternative to shandies and radlers.

#1 - Guava with pink peppercorn and tarragon

Poured from a tap. Thick murky light yellow color, medium frothy white head. Grapefruit and guava aroma. Medium body with a grapefruit and guava flavor and a light finish. Tastes like a fruit smoothie. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at share. Pours a hazy golden orange with head. Aroma is fruity with orange, lemon, and pineapple. Flavor is odd with the fruits and I guess the tarragon from the description. Hard to describe. It was somewhat flavorful but kind of weird on my palate. Easy to drink.

On tap @ Beer Camp - Chicago. Pour is pale yellow/slight orange with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor of peach, lemon peel, pepper, and yeast. Finish is slightly sweet with more pepper spice. Strange.

Draft sample. Poured cloudy golden color with an average fizzy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Moderate yeast and citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet & spice flavor with a medium spice & sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

Pours - how would you describe it? - like a coppery colored beer infused with milk. A milky copper color with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is guava-like fruit and peppery Belgian-like yeast. Taste is a little watery with faint guava up front. Some light maltiness and very faint bitterness come in for the mid and the finish. A little guava creeps back in at the end too. Overall, the flavors could probably be a little more distinct.

Taster on tap at GTMW. Totally cloudy, pale peach color. Like pinkish yellow pale. Thin off-white head, leaves great, thicker lace. Light to medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Slick texture. Refreshing and easy to sip. Floral aroma, great peach, honey guava, orange blossom. Nice floral aroma. Moderate sweet taste, lightly tangy. Good tasty refreshing stuff.

On tap at the Daily Growler, UA. Brief note: crazy cloudy light tan pinkish color. Guava, grapefruit, light spice, faint tart. 7.2

Pours a very cloudy champagne color. Has a thin white head that dissipates fast. Aside from that, it’s rather heavily carbonated. Guava comes through in the aroma and very mildly in the flavor. The overall flavor is tart and malty. It’s not hoppy at all. The finish is clean.

Had it on draft at sheffields. Crazy cloudy pour. Yellow orange. Lemon peel, fruity aroma. Very unique taste. Spicy. Summer beer indeed. Not my favorite

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2015 At Gene’s rooftop. Hmm. . . not totally my thing however it would better be judged on how it tasted as a whole rather than looking for a beer flavor. Much like Sam Smiths Apricot ale it is fruit first beer flavor second. Serving: Tap
