Appearance: Clearish, darkened brown body with a slim bubbles of loose, large bubbles.

Smell: It smells like a chocolate cupcake dipped in bourbon with a fruity Trappist yeast element.

Taste: A chocolate taste, though not the deepest chocolate taste around, certainly not a chocolate cupcake. Modestly sweet. Faintly fruity, spice yeast hints. Appreciable, appreciated bourbon traces. Light bitterness, low hop character. Drying, lightly chocolaty finish with some alcohol warmth.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.

Overall: All Good? Well, it’s good.

Deep brown pour with watery tan head. Musty earthiness, some coffee, some vanilla, and roasted malt. Sweet roasted malt, vanilla, and a light sour finish. Medium body with smooth carbonation.

Cask at the Atlanta Cask Ale Fest. Pours a clear brown with an amber hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of coffee and caramel with some earthiness, roasted malts and a bit of light fruit. Flavor has a good amount of roasted malts with vanilla and bourbon with just a hint of light fruits. A bit odd.

Cask @ ACAT - Pours dark brown with hints of amber with tan head. Smell is big sweet bourbon, with vanilla, oak. Taste is was almost like a barrel aged quad, but with a lighter body. Vanilla, oak, fruity, yeast, sweet. Just a lovely barrel aged treatment. This was among the best of the festival.
