Amber, frothy head, lots of oak in the aroma and flavor, hint of vanilla that stands tall after warming,

oak and sulpher aroma, rick carmel malt flavor with just the right amount of sweetness, only the slightest hint of oak, the sulpher shows back up again in the last couple of swallows

aracauna (2238), Georgia, USA Nov 26, 2006 This tends to be a smoother version of the fest. The flavors seem to meld together better, the slight vanilla from the oak is a nice complement to the beer and the moutfeel tends to be creamier than the regular beer. The highlight of the annual Oktoberfest party. unclemattie (1584), Georgia, USA Nov 17, 2006 Had this beer at the 5 Seasons Oktoberfest 2006. orange amber in color. Very malty and a great bitter finish. Smoother palate than the unOaked Ecstasy. Perfect American Märzen.
