aracauna (2238), Georgia, USA Feb 3, 2003 Updated: Mar 29, 2003 Quite possibly the best thing I had here this time around. Nice black but far from opaque body (red hues). Large frothy head is just a little darker than off-white. Nice chewy malt leans heavily toward the chocolate end of the spectrum. Tasty but surprisingly drinkable beer.
unclemattie (1620), Georgia, USA Sep 4, 2008 01 May 08. Tap. Clear copper color. Clean malt aroma. Crisp malt flavor. Medium-light bodied. Finishes with an enjoyable sweetness. CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 10, 2008 On tap at the brewpub on 5/4/08: Transparent dark copper amber with a nicely-lacing frothy tan head. Aroma of sweet caramely German malt and some mild noble hops. Starts with decent fullness and sweet caramel maltiness with a good bittering hop balance before a smooth bittersweet finish with a touch of doughy yeast. A nice bock. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Apr 6, 2008 Full bodied with a slightly nutty and biscuity nose. I found this to be extremely smooth and well balanced. A bit of caramel sweetness follows throughout every taste. Slightly dry and fruity in the finish. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: May 23, 2008Date: 02/06/2003
