COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a dry yet full flavored Irish Style Stout, not heavy or sweet. We serve it with Nitrogen through a "sparkler" draught tap that gives it a long cascading "roll" of bubbles forming a dense whipped cream-like head yet keeps the carbonation appropriately low. Full flavors of coffee and chocolate abound, with a dry roasted finish.

This poured a black color with a large white head. The aroma is coffee and charcoal. The flavor is rather bitter with some chocolate showing up. Overall a nice session stout!

Draft at brewery: pours black with full beige head. Full roasty aroma. Flavor is full: roasted malt and light chocolate. Slightly sour finish. Good.

Pours a dark opaque black with a thick, dense, tan nitro head. Aroma is mild, and semi-roasty with some dry maltiness. Starts lightly sweet with some cooked vegetable flavors turning more dry toward a roasty dark chocolate finish. Done pretty well to style, I guess I’m just not that big a fan of dry stouts.

Fairly dry taste, with a hint of coffee at the end. Compared to other Irish stouts, I’d say this has a little more flavor, and I would probably consider ordering it again.

From tap, served with beer mix gas and stout faucet. Little head evident besides a light coating of head in my glass. Decent aroma of hops and hints of coffee and chocolate. Good roasted flavor, a good dry stout.

Uniform, creamy light tan head from nitro and a black body with reddish-brown highlights. Dark-chocolate aroma with medium roast and cigar notes. Mostly dry with some light acidity and moderate bitterness. Roast cuts through and builds to a degree. Decent dry stout overall.

This was decent enough. nice black color with tannish white head. roasted malts and hopped flavor with a very dry finish. hints of chocolate and coffee, but not too much.

Draft, half pint. Black hue with ruby edges and a creamy, tan, nitro head. Pretty dismal nitro non-aroma consists of roasty, coccoa, nutty. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter flavor becomes a lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter finish. Decent smoke/roast notes in the flavor. Touch of dark fruits in the finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively (but tight) carbonation. The bottom line is: perhaps a slightly better than average nitro dry stout.

Pint off nitro at brewery - Aroma of roasted chocolate malts and coffee soaking in rusty water. Pours black with a lasting creamy brown head and great lacing typical of a nitro. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is creamy but way too thin. Another tasty brew that nitro killed. When I mentioned this to the bartender, he said they were "Messin with the nitro to get the right taste." So they were aware of the issue.
