3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Shag (2283) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JUN 22, 2011
A golden color with nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, grassy notes, hay. The flavor is bitter with some lemons and spice notes. Some malt presence as well. Overall a nice pils.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cybercat (1892) - Georgia, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Pours a nice clear golden with a decent white head, typical for a pils but still appetizing. Aroma is crisp and malty with a subtle hoppy undertone. Flavor is malty, slightly hoppy, slightly bitter, better than most pilsners I have had. Texture is fairly smooth with a good tingle. Normally I don’t care much for pilsners, but I like this one.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 beernovice39 (2088) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 11, 2010
Draft. A yellow brew with a white head. Scent is malt and hops. Taste is light sweet floral with balanced hoppy bitterness. This could be trouble in the summer :)).
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ChainGangGuy (3834) - Canton, Georgia, USA - SEP 26, 2010
Appearance: Served up a crystal clear, yellow body capped with a crown of white suds.
Smell: Lightly grainy whiff of Pils malt with scents of vibrant Noble hops imparting hints of dried flowers and piquant spices.
Taste: Particularly pale and pilsner malts tasting of crisped grains dusted with just a small bit of icing sugar. In comes the zesty, spicy, floral Noble hops with a goodly dose of bitterness. Finishes rightly dry, lightly crisp, and with touch of those Noble hops lingering into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Excellent for refreshing Summertime drinking, it has plenty of flavor and a definite ease of drinkability.
3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 unclemattie (3346) - Georgia, USA - SEP 25, 2010
Clear blonde color, served in a tall flute. Aroma of grassy hops with a touch of pepper spice. Flavor is of sticky sweet malts. Very smooth texture, creamy. Then there is a spicy bite of saaz. Yum. Nice straw character from the rich malt, then there is the grassy, spicy hop bite to go with it. Very well balanced. This beer satisfied my Pilsner expectations and then excited my taste buds. Perfect.
