Appearance: Issues forth a hazed, amber-gold body with a thin, bubbly, close enough to white we’ll call it white head.

Smell: Toasted bread crumbs, cinnamon sticks, clove, powdered ginger, and basic sugar tossed together with lightly tart apple juice that’s hinting at a little bit of underlying funkiness that, for me, didn’t carry over into the taste.

Taste: A taste of toast, a sip of sweetish cider, and spicy hints of cinnamon, maybe even a bit of ginger. Comes together like a liquid blend of Apple Jacks and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. No apparent hop character, bitterness. Lightly tart, juicy, spicy finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation.

Overall: Like their bacon beer for the ACAT back in 2011, it’s an interesting brew. You may or may not like it, but you got give it that at least.

Gold pour with watery white head and lace. Aroma is apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lots of apple. Flavor mirrors the aroma. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A smooth tasty beer.
