3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
English style ale rather than the west coast style most of us are used to. Hoppy profile reminds me of rabbit food but not in a gross way. Very herbal aroma. Full flavored, crisp, and refreshing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a great quaffable session pale ale. Simple soapy, citrus hop aroma, with a slight caramel/toffee maltiness. Good balance and mouthfeel.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Just like aracauna said, this is a very timid APA. The hoppiness is there in the background but seems too shy to come out and play.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 31. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. Dennis, the owner, treated us royally. He kept bringing sample after sample to our table. We were given every courtesy and treated very well. Thanks to their fine staff. This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that left behind good lace and a transparent softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The aroma was mildly malted and missing the usual Pale Ale hop notes. The mouthfeel was also missing the typical hop bite and was more malty than hoppy. The flavor was nice and mellow for a Pale Ale and I highly reccommend it for non-hop heads. It is one of the better low hopped APA's out there.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewpub. Light orange coloring, almost copper, with an off-white head. This was balanced but pretty boring for a pale ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Best of the beers I had at the 5 Seasons brewpub in Atlanta. Reading the description on the menu "Blending Extra Bitter and IPA" made me believe I was in for a hopfest, but that was not the case. Slight hop presence and a little more complex than the Sisters and Alt beers but nothing to write home about. This brewpub is a nice place to eat, play pool, etc but the beers are lacking. Overall this one was ok.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear, bright copper body with a just off-white head. Mild, pale malt nose with little hop aroma. Some spicy hop flavor but the malts still lead and overpower a bit. Slight iced tea character. Boring pale ale.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2003 Heavy hops on the nose. I'd like a bit more malt to balance out the hops. There are some slight esters in the flavor that I noticed towards the end. Not a bad beer, but a very timid APA.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice amber color. Not much hop aroma in this one. Slight hop bite that dies quickly. A little the light side of the style.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bronze color with creamy head and lots of lacing. Aroma is filled with hops, screaming up with a very american hop profile. The flavor isn't too balanced as the hops are a tad too spicy compared to the malt, maybe this one fermented a bit too dry. It isn't bad, but i've had a fair share of APA's and there's lots better.
