COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mild Ales are a popular British pub style beer. Ours is crisp with a touch of hop flavor, a light, smooth malt character and a dry finish. Although lighter in body it has a nice combination of flavors. This style of beer is often referred to as the elixir of life for the salt of the earth as it is widely consumed in the pubs of England.

On tap on 10/28/07: Transparent amber mahogany pour has a dense, frothy light tan head. Aroma of slightly toasty malts with some fresh English hops. Body starts fairly full with a mild earthy malty sweetness and some piny hop character toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. Smooth, authentic and drinkable. A pretty good mild.

Pours hazy dark copper orange. Stiff white head.
Pours dark copper, almost brown. Pour with a nitro style head, but the beer was served on CO2, presumably.
Light earthy hops aroma with a toast and a bit of chocolate.
The hop flavor seems to be a bit more that an touch. Nutty, and toasty.
Light and dry. Refreshing carbonation. Not really anything special, but I would drink this beer anytime. Nice beer.

Appearance: Hazy, reddish brown body with a small beige head. Smell: Light, very light aroma of cocoa with a little bit of over-roasted nuts. Taste: Faint dark caramel and chocolate taste with only a small measure of sweetness. An equally small touch of bitterness helps to add balance on the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation. Drinkability: Very good, flavorful mild.
