COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Pale Ale - but brewed exclusively with British barley. It is copper in color and has a nice sweetness from the malted barley. A citrusy aroma comes from the American whole leaf hops added in bags sitting right inside the serving tank (called ‘dry hopping’). Oh, where does the name come from? It was Junior Samples’ phone number from the ol’ Hee Haw show. (Junior used to live in these parts actually.) And I really, really like Hee Haw.

Mediocre as best, very faint nose, with some citrus cascade hoppiness and some caramel maltiness. Tastes tame and not at all what I expect from the quality of beer at 5 Seasons

Amber colour with a timid tan head. Fresh floral aroma with notes of malt, apricots and peaches. Lightly bitter, very light sweetness and some malty hints. Nice light bitterness after taste and some light sourness too. Ok.

Pours a dark, barely translucent honey-like golden-brown - very tempting. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy, more like a good IPA, with a honey-sweet undertone and a hint of citrus. Strongly hoppy flavor is fairly but not fiercely bitter and has a fruity undertone, mainly grapefruit and sour orange. Texture is smooth and fizzy, leaving a tingly hoppy and citrus finish.

really hoppy APA.... arrived to the table a deep unfiltered red with a small white head. very pleasant citrus and floral hop notes across the nose. solid body with tons of bitterness throughout. some sweet malts back up the hops well and balance the beer. bitter finish. extremely drinkable and very hoppy! went extremely well with the chipotle grilled chicken sandwich. the perfect APA for me.

This is a fairly hoppy APA. Big orangey hops meld icely with the caramel in the malt. Tasty beer.

Had on tap at the Westside location. Standard excellent pale ale Medium copper pour with a pillowy white head. Nice light sprucey aroma with a hint of mint. Flavor is fruit forward with nice spruce accents, mint, apricot and peach Excellent APA.

This pale ale has a copper color along with some great lacing. A full aroma extends from the glass giving the drinker a sense of kiwi, grass, and other floral qualities. The hops on this ale are medium and flavors include citrus, ginger and lime. The beer has a lingering tart finish but not offensive by any means.

Lightly hazed orange/gold pour. Sweet malt, oranges, light/medium citrus on the nose. Caramel malt, medium citrus bitter finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Serving: On draft at the brewpub. It pours a slightly hazy, light copper color with a small, frothy, off-white head. The nose is very citric with notes of orange, grass, and grapefruit. The taste has a nice hop and malt balance with those citrus notes from the nose really coming though. A good bit of malt sweetness is there too. Medium bodied with a mellow, short finish. A solid and sessionable brew.

On tap at the westside location. Muted citrus aroma, mostly orange, with a bit of an earthiness to it as well. A bit more hopped up for an APA but I like it that way. Flavor is mostly caramel malt with some sweetness and a bit of candi sugar. Finish is a bit on the grassy bitter side. Neither the hops nor malt really take over one way or the other. Decently sessionable but nothing incredibly memorable.
