Tap @ the 5SN Nine Course Beer Dinner, 28 jan 09. Nice copper color. Strong pale ale aroma. This is a pub ale! Flavor is a dominant pale malt, very earthy. Well balanced. Very light hop bitternes, earthy as well. Like walking through a wooded nature trail, close to the shore. Just a hint of sea fresh air and earthiness. Then back down in the pub. overall, a superb session beer. Follows the English-style IPA.

This iPA pours the color of dark honey with a thick, fine-bubbled pale tan head. Aroma is not strong but invitingly hoppy and fruity. Flavor is quite hoppy and not at all bitter and has hints of citrus. Texture is smooth and lively, and finish has just a hint of bitterness in it.
