Pours black with thick beige head and good lacing throughout. Smell is coffee, roasted malts. Taste reveals a nice creamy sweetness to balance out the roast coffee and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is the best part. So suculant. Nice brew.

Comes out of the tap an opaque coffee-brown sable with a nice tan head. Aroma is richly of quality roast coffee with a hint of unsweet chocolate. Fine coffee dominates the flavor, which has smoky and sweet hints and a touch of chocolate. Fizzy texture leaves a nice coffee-flavored tingle.

on tap-pours a creamy light brown head and black color. Aroma is espresso, dark roasty malt. Taste is espresso, coffee grounds. Full body. A breakfast coffee for those that like the style. Well done.

On Tap. Jet Black, like dirty motor oil! Thin head. Aroma of a rich cup of black coffee. Flavors of darkest roasted black coffee watered down by the richest malts.

black, dense creamy tan head, solid lace, strong roasted and coffee aroma, creamy body, rich coffee flavor, good amount of roasted complements the coffee and keeps it from taking over but it comes back in the finished, touch of dry dark chocolate sneaks through, the creamy body and rich coffee combine for a great pint of coffee

huge creamy tan head leaves lots of lace, the espresso aroma is a bit subdued compared to the cask, the keg follows the cask very close in the flavor, lots of rich coffee and dark chocolate,

On tap at the brewpub in Alpharetta. Dark, motor oil-like pour with a very thick mocha colored head. Strong coffee/espresso aroma with hints of dark chocolate. Flavor has the same elements as well - mixed in very well. almost like a liqueur in its viscosity and thickness. Espresso delight wiht an overload of chocolate. Kind of reminds me of a fudge sundae with an alcohol bite. Overall, excellent.

I loved the Black Hole Stout, and this does the coffee right, even though the coffee flavors and aroma override the rest of the beer. None of the ashiness or harshness that some coffee beers pick up from the coffee beans are present, but all of that complex roasty aromas from that first cup of coffee are there. Great beer to pair with the creme brulee.
