3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ben4321 (2212) - Hoboken, USA - FEB 16, 2010
Location: On tap at the Alpharetta Brewbup, 2/15/10
Overall Impression: It has some spice, some doughy/yeasty flavors, and some citrus hops. It pours a clear golden color. Its a solid enough golden ale. Of the 5 beers I had there this ends up in a virtual tie for 4th (5th) with the Venus, both being a few steps behind the other 3 beers.

On draft at Westside. Hazy yellow look. Bready malt scent. Taste is bready and light citrus.

Lightly hazed gold with creamy off white head and lace. Light malt aroma. Dry malt flavor with a mild bitter. Medium bodied and watery.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Elwood (1962) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - FEB 24, 2010
Serving: Draft at the brewpub.
It pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow with a small, frothy white head. The nose is very light with slight lemon notes. The flavor is light as well with a tart, lemony taste. A light body and clean finish are expected and get delivered. What can’t help this one is the lack of flavor. The worst out of all their brews I’ve tried.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lithy (2995) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2009
Golden yellow, white cover. Musty sweet, light fruitiness in the aroma. Taste is again musty, bright fruits, drying finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 CaptainCougar (6833) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 20, 2009
On tap 8/3/08: Pours a hazy deep golden with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malts with a touch of graininess and noble hops. Body starts with good fullness and a light grainy sweetness with good bittering hop balance before a smooth, drier bittersweet finish. Very drinkable, a nice golden.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 6, 2009
Hazy dark straw. Doughy pale malt aroma. Taste is a bit doughy with light, vaguely limey accent. Overall, though, it’s too doughy.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beershine (4702) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - FEB 4, 2009
Shockingly hazy luminescent gold with small off-white head. Smells spritzy like a weizen with lots of citrus and fruity esters. Quite yeasty and not like what I expected. Thin, watery finish. Nice spiciness reminiscent of a wit. Not flawed in any way but still disappointing.
