COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer will be tapped at our Oktoberfest celebration on October 6th! It is a traditional German Oktoberfest lager brewed with all German barley, European noble hops, and has been lagered - or conditioned for three months. It has an amber color and a smooth, beautiful, soft maltiness from the German barley. It is naturally carbonated. Prost!

Pours a fairly typical clear amber with a decent white head. Aroma is typically malty but slightly fruity. Flavor fills the mouth, being typically malty but with a nice fruity undertone and a hop-bitter hint. This is no ordinary lager, or Oktoberfest. Smoth, tingly, fizzy texture leaves a fruity and slightly bitter finish.

Sweet, dark syrup malt aroma. Lightly cloudy cinnamon brown. Cereal, medium bitter, woody, lightly sweet. A little vacant and watery towards the end. Medium body.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, brownish copper body with a bubbly, off-white head. Smell: Light aroma of toasty Vienna malt with a nice fruitiness and only a touch of caramel and spicy hops. Taste: A dry, toasted maltiness offers only a mild sweetness. Faint hint of fruit. Light spicy hop character offers a moderate bitterness on the overall toasty finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: You can really taste the authenticity! Paired wonderfully well with the bratwurst, knackwurst, roasted chicken, and schweinhaxen served up for the 5 Seasons North Oktoberfest.

even drier on cask as the caramel sweetness barely shows at all

Tap. Copper / amber color, nice off-white head. Not much lacing. Aromas are of fruit and honey, nice malt aroma with hints of hop. Flavor is perfect malt sweetness and a killer bitter finish. A long lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied, Very nice. Prost!

This pours a fairly clear brown body with a good head. The aroma is malty first and this is on the sweeter end of the scale, although definitely not cloying. The hops aren’t wimpy for the style, but the maltiness really keeps them from being more than a complement. Pretty tasty.
