3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 drowland (3879) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 6, 2011
6/6/11. On tap. Relatively clear dark orange pour with a nice creamy tan head that sticks around and laces a ton. Very fragrant hop aroma with pine and a hint of citrus as well and a solid dose of chocolate. Sweet, tropical flavor at first that transitions to chocolate and a bit of roast, almost ash, with a lingering bitter hop kick. Nice!
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 DrinkEmUpJones (675) - Georgia, USA - APR 29, 2011
Pours golden amber with nice white lacing. Medium-full nose. Pine & forest aromas as well as grapefruit. Full-bodied palate is heavy on grapefruit and citrus with notes of toast. Good hops without being overly bitter. Nicely balanced Ipa.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 23, 2010
Otown throwdown III. Shared by KP I think. Pours a light hazy med amber thin head and low carbonation- actually close to flat, but still easy drinking. Aroma is nice fresh pine like hops, mint, resin, dank wet weed and light malt profile. Flavor has some toast and light caramel but lots ore piney cold smokey resinous hops- chinook, warrior, nugget, dank, and minty- with light sweet caramel malts, some toffee, and more pine resin in the end. pretty good!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 mixmasterob (676) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUL 14, 2010
On draft @ 5 Seasons North. Poured into a pint glass dark red almost brown. Decent head although didn’t leave much lace. Big aroma of citrus fruits, grapefruit, pineapple and maybe some orange. Nice hop flavors from start to finish. Bitterness is held in check although it balances with the malt well. Just a solid IPA. Dangerously drinkable at 7% alcohol. Too bad they don’t bottle it.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2010 Rating #1 - 4/1/2010. Draft at 5 Seasons West, poured through "the world’s largest Randall" full of Willamette hops. Pours a cloudy, cloudy tannish brown with no head at all (cask-conditioned). Aroma is pleasant earthy hops with some grapefruit over bready malts. Flavor is fantastic blend of bready malts with soft touches of toast and chocolate and a strong balanced hop flavor that is herbal with notes of evergreen and a good bit of citrus. Balanced bitterness over chewy hops with full finish. Mouthfeel is full and chewy with soft carbonation. Overall, frikkin’ great IPA. 8,2,9,4,18 (4.1).
Rating #2 - 7/29/2010. Plain ol’ Plan B in a sampler during a brewery tour (no "randall" to impart more fresh hop character). Very cloudy brownish pour. Aroma is quite hoppy with simcoe in particular. Flavor is hoppy and bittersweet with more "catty" simcoe flavor with a nicely balanced bready malt flavor and just the right note of residual sweetness. Very pleasant IPA. 8,2,8,4,16 (3.8)

Overall Impression:
A very nice, hazy, dark orange/caramel colored IPA with a lot of hops on the nose and in the taste. This was a pretty nice beer for sure. Big hop brew. Pine and citrus. Sticky and nice.

cask conditioned at the brewing company. Cloudy orange color with thick head. Aroma is pure hops. Taste was definitely citrus hops but i thought I caught some oine/grass in there as well. Awesome beer.

100th India Pale Ale (IPA). Dark red orange, sticky white head. Herbal pine hop aroma, caramel. Taste is sticky resinous hops, big toffee and caramel.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 craftbeerdesign (1979) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - NOV 6, 2009
UPDATED: APR 1, 2010 through the "world’s largest Randall" @ Westside... They put this through a tank loaded with hops... The result is a murky dark orange color with almost no head... Insanely fresh hop profile with huge pine and grass notes... Lighter nose than I would expect... Big body which is much smoother and crisper than the standard Plan B... Bitter finish, but again muted... A nice twist by pushing this through the giant Randall, but I prefer the standard version.
on tap at 5 Seasons North on 11/5/09... really solid IPA... pours a deep full bodied red with a nice white head. big pine hop aroma fills the nose. medium to full body... the hops really grab hold of your tongue throughout... a bit lighter up top and soft sides ... some underlying malt to keep things in line... thick bitter hop bomb finish.
