ChainGangGuy (1511), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Nov 27, 2007 Appearance: Pours a hazy caramel-colored body with a thin ring of off-white bubbles.
Smell: Aroma of spiced caramel and fresh pumpkin innards.
Taste: Rich, sweet caramel malts with a touch of breadiness. Very fresh-tasting pumpkin flavor with a blip of tart fruitiness. Subdued cinnamon spice character and a touch of earthy bitterness. The sweetness gets a second wind and picks back up for the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Very mild carbonation.
Drinkability: A very nice pumpkin ale full of flavor and good, wholesome fun.
jsh12bama (202), Alabama, USA Dec 15, 2007 Nice spicy aroma. Flavor of pumkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Like drinking a glass of spice cake. Good for one beer but not all night. Good seasonal ale. Pass the pecan pie. KieferUGA (310), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Dec 15, 2007 Sampler. Pours a dark amber. Small, off white head. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon. Flavor is really well balanced. Pumpkin flavors are nice and subtle. Cinnamon and nutmeg spices come through near the end. The finish is slightly bitter. One of the better pumpkin beers I tried this year. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Nov 25, 2007 Updated: Dec 17, 2007Date: 10/25/2007
