4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 ChainGangGuy (3834) - Canton, Georgia, USA - APR 2, 2010
Appearance: Arrived in a tall, slender mug with a clear, copper-toned body topped off with a finger of white foam maintained by a constant, steady stream of fine carbonation.
Smell: Sweetish, predominately bready nose of German malts. Slight hint of light caramel. Mild notes of spicy, earthy hops.
Taste: Opens with a notably sweet taste of sugar-encrusted, toasted bread crusts. Additional hint of caramel. Very small hint of grain. Clear lager yeastiness. Lightly spicy hop presence with a small measure of imparted bitterness. Bready, sweetish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Fairly smooth mouthfeel overall.
Drinkability: Always a good choice at the 5. A pleasant beer that drinks very (sometimes a bit too) easily and pairs with a wide range of foods.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 smcolw (426) - Wayland, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 24, 2009
I rated this one before I saw the reviews. Frankly, I’m surprised that this beer scored as low as it did. I think this is a fine Marzen/Munich style beer. It is gold-amber in color and only slightly hazy. Excellent lace was left on the glass.
The aroma is mild--very low hop with only a hint of malted barley.
What impressed the most was the mouthfeel. This is a soft beer with a generous dose of fine good-champagne bubbles. Absolutely delightful on the tongue. The beer flavor is more typical of the style.
4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 beerlyman (1) - Braselton, Georgia, USA - OCT 1, 2009 does not count
A sweet wonderful pour of heaven in a tall lager glass. Drank this rather quickly on the brewery tour. Nice toffee colored head when I picked it up off the bar. A medium amber in color. Well balanced with a smooth finish. What is to be expected out of a Vienna Lager. Only 1 fault!! Not enough to drink!!!

Draft at Roswell brewpub.
Poured clear copper color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish that was moderate in duration.
This is a solid beer for style.
