COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the original seven Munich breweries that hosted Oktoberfest, THE beer celebration dating back to 1571. It is a deep rich amber Bavarian Lager (known as a Vienna Style to beer aficionados) with a full, round voluptuous body and a very malty finish. Enjoy with pork, roast chicken, sausages and mixed grills.

Deep gold with white head and lace. Medium earthy hop aroma and a slight spiciness. Caramel and wheat flavor. Medium bodied almost slick with good carbonation.

Pint at brewery - Aroma of toasty lager malts with a touch of hops. Pours copper with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is crisp and clean. An easy drinking brew.

Had this one on tap at the 5 for Sara’s BDay. Amber in color. A very nice Märzen style. Very balanced. Slight bitter finish.

Light lager nose--sweet and of toasted malt. Copper-amber color, low tight head. Sweet honey malt notes upfront, peaty notes--almost smokey. Crisp texture. Thin, refreshing, and with a good balance.

Draft at the Sandy Springs location, poured an expected amber color. Featured a significant presence of bitter hops, if truly a vienna lager, then truly the hoppiest I’ve ever had. Aroma and flavor both featured caramel malts along with some fruity esters (is this really a lager?). Lacking any bready or spicey notes. The single beer at 5S that had me confused and seemed to be more of an amber ale than anything German.

Moderately roasty and sweet with a complement of mild hoppiness. Finish is very malty and full. Good session beer.

Pretty enjoyable, I am glad this is on tap everytime I visit Atlanta. This is always a good first beer of the evening at the brewery. Hoppy, somewhat herbal nose and just a hint of sweet caramel as well. Pretty savory on the palate, with some sweet breadiness, but could have just a bit more fruit characters.

Draft at Roswell brewpub. Poured clear copper color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish that was moderate in duration. This is a solid beer for style.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours light amber with a moderate white head. Aroma and flavor are both light malt and hops. It’s a well-made Vienna, but not particularly exciting one way or the other. Probably here for the non-beer-geek, though it’s worth stressing that it is pretty well made and I’d certainly drink it again.

Draught at the brewpup. Don’t remember the specifics, but I found this beer to be a solid example for the style. Slightly sweet caramel malt, slight hops in the finish. Not amazing but enjoyable.
