This is a classic example of an American Pale Ale. It has a medium light body, a pronounced bitterness and a beautiful piney aroma from all of the Cascade hops that we used to dry hop this beer. Yes, that is Jerry Seinfelds apartment number.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, pale orange-hued body with a slim coating of an off-white head.

Smell: A bit bready, a bit biscuity with soft albeit inviting scents of citrus, florals and pine.

Taste: As with the nose, 5A runs the fine line between being both bready and biscuity given a few bready drops of sweet golden syrup. Citrusy, hops with lemon and orange, but also allowing some soft floral, piney touches. Just lightly bitter. Remains citrusy on the decidedly crisp finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: An enjoyable, greatly drinkable pale ale.

Atlanta, Ga - on tap at the brewpub. Standard excellent pale ale. Medium copper pour with a pillowy white head. Nice light sprucey aroma with a hint of mint. Flavor is fruit forward with nice spruce accents, mint, apricot and peach and some ripening vegetable notes in the finish. Mouthfeel has a nice rich thickness to it. Excellent APA.

Golden amber body with off-white head. Citrusy, grassy nose. Lemon zest, grass, hoppy flavors make for a refreshing Pale Ale.

I had the Northside version, but I don’t see much of a point to add a seperate 5A . Clean malt bill, fresh citrus, floral. Pretty average fair, but a nice pale nonetheless.

Hazy orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of bready malt and citrus hops. Sweet malt, bready, with a citrus bitter finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Crisp and clean.

On tap at the westside pub, pours golden amber by the wolfman barkeep. Nose of flowers and citrus. Taste cuts with bitterness and gives way to flowers and grapefuit. Malt provides an ample structure. Good, but easily forgetable.

On tap at brewpub. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas of citrusy hops and light caramel malts, Flavors are much the same. Pretty standard APA but this one has a nice hop punch and pretty solid overall.

On draft at brewpub poured a light golden color with aromas of light grains and citrus. Flavors are the same light grapefruit, light on the palate, an all day drinker for sure, very sessionable.

On tap at the Westside location. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has a nice light citrus note with a bit of grapefruit and a light grain backing. Flavor has a lighter hop note with just a bit of earthy citrus and a bit of backing grain.

Cloudy dark orange. Light dark tan head. Orange citrus burst of flavor with a full bodied mouthfeel. Some caramel sweetness. Citrusy aroma. Really nice drink here.
