COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saisons are a Belgian farmhouse style. The specific yeast used to brew them creates an unbelievably complex flavor profile with notes of tropical fruits, berries, apples, exotic spices and an earthiness. As a style Saisons are very wide open. We love to brew many examples of the style and really explore the possibilities. Flower Child Saison is a red color, with a touch of caramel roundness, yet has a dry finish. It has a wonderfully floral nose.

Dark red in color, with the aroma of roses and jam, this brew resembles little of it’s saison character. One sip, and its clear this is no red and clearly not an IPA. The jam notes come through in the taste, with spices and caramel. Finishes dry, but not enough to remove the lingering flavors. A touch of sour secures the saison name. Totally unique!

On tap. hazy golden color with white head. dry spice, honey biscuit aromas. medium body. Sweet honey flavors with light pit fruits, and a tangy drying finish--good

Mostly a clear gold pour with a white head. Aroma is spicy up front, some nice peppery notes and yeast. Flavor is a bit sweeter than I would like in a saison, but some nice yeasty, earthy qualities redeem the beer somewhat on the finish.

Wow. For a beer named Flower Child, I was expecting something hoppier. This is perfectly smooth, balanced, and easy without being betting or tasting like hand soap. Creamy, clean, and refreshing.
