3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ChainGangGuy (4122) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - OCT 25, 2011
Appearance: Served a hazed orange-hued body with a slim, ivory head.
Smell: A slightly chewy breadiness with a hint of promised sweetness in the flavor with a shaving or two of fresh citrus peel.
Taste: Moderately sweet in the fore with a notable breadiness, then, some florals and a portion of fruity citrus juice. Only slightly bitter, but it’s enough to carry you along to a drying, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Barely on both accounts, though.
Overall: A nice ale that, while fresh-tasting, was never particularly hard-hitting in it’s flavor or bitterness.
