Golden pour. Aroma of hops. I love dry hopped beers. This is one of them. Herbal earthy hoppiness. Nice grain flavor. Pale malts. Smooth hop bitterness. Nelson Sauv is such a great hop. This is a great beer.

Serving: Draft at the brewpub.
It pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a small, foamy, white head. The nose is sweet and citric, loaded with hops. Grapefruit and berry notes are dominant. The taste is malt forward at first then a bold, astringent bitterness. The grapefruit aspect really comes through on the palate. Medium body with a lengthy, bitter finish. I would be content to sit back and drink a few of these.

Had this one at the brewpub a few weeks back on business in ATL. Pours cloudy amber with a bug white head that laces the glass. Smells slightly musty and earthy hoppy with slight citrus and a hint of dishwater. Pretty good. Tastes hoppy and clean with citrus. Lightly pungent. Good overall. Medium body, good carbonation.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ChainGangGuy (3834) - Canton, Georgia, USA - FEB 9, 2010
Appearance: Deliver to my corner of the bar a head, burnished orange body with a dense, frothy head with a slight yellow tinge to it.
Smell: Bright hop aroma imparts inviting notes of white grapes, zippy spices, and fresh flower petals. In back are the mild, lightly toasty notes of pale malts.
Taste: Pale malts accompanied by tastes of both French bread and crumpled biscuits serves as a light platform to launch us into the Nelson Sauvin hop character. The hops are zesty, floral, spicy and impart hints of white grape and lychee. Also, the slackened malts provide a nicely bold bitterness to come through. The beer is quite dry on the back half and finish with some of that bitterness enduring into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Just speaks into medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A pleasant ale utilizing a strikingly unique hop. As dear glid would say, it’s worth a shot!
