COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Although not brewed specifically to any style, this is a Belgian-style farmhouse beer. Deep gold in color, with fruity notes from the Belgian yeast and a spicy snap from the Belgian Saaz hops. The rustic character comes from the raw wheat, oats and rye added to the mash. We actually brewed this beer together with a parents’ group from one of Atlanta’s charter schools who were doing a study group on beer!

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma with yeasty hints and weak hoppy hints. Spicy malty yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.

On the board as phoenix rustic. Honey sweetness. Nice full body and full mouthfeel. Banana and clove aroma. Nicely effervescent. Only draw back is a slightly off yeast flavor on the back of the palate.

Appearance: Clouded to the point of being opaque, with a dark yellow-orange body with a full inch of creamyish, white foam on top. Smell: Imagination Farmhouse Ale, alternatively listed simply as IMAGINE, smells of an austere, homey graininess, like a walk through fertile grain fields. A whisper of fruit and dried herbs and spice round out the aroma. Taste: Cream-brushed wheat and barley bready with a middling degree of sweetness. Thin, fleeting hint of raw honey. Lightly fruity, lightly herbaceous, with even a touch of lavender midway through. Minor bitterness at most. Peppery spiciness remains light. Cream of wheat on the grainy, soft finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. A bit weighty on the tongue. Overall: Surprisingly low alcohol. Rustic and hearty, like the beer equivalent of coarse bread.

On draught @ Westside. Hazy golden pour with a small quickly fading head. Aroma was very light all around, decent yeast presence, light fruit. Flavors were just the same, light yeast character. Light and refreshing. Was hoping for something a bit more well rounded. Not bad by any means.

On tap, cloudy and dark yellow, some spice on the head, but it doesn’t carry over to the taste, kinda weak.
